Each RINGO ring begins as raw zirconia powder — the same material used in aerospace engineering and dental-grade implants. It is hydraulically pressed under enormous pressure into a near-net-shape ring blank, then sintered in high-temperature kilns at over 1,400°C for a minimum of 12 hours.
The result is a monolithic ceramic body with a crystalline microstructure that is scratch-resistant, hypoallergenic, and dimensionally stable for life. The NFC antenna and chip are then encapsulated within the body during the pressing process, making them truly integral to the ring — not adhered, not coated, not retrofitted.
A final multi-stage lapping and polishing process achieves the smooth, jewellery-grade surface finish RINGO is known for. No coating. No plating. The colour is intrinsic to the ceramic itself.
